About the Cover

The FF Indoor special interest holds most of what we cherish that is graceful and pure about aeromodeling. In Johnson City, Tennessee, during the last few days of spring 2008, AMA Members and friends joined once again for the time-honored tradition that is the Nats.
That isn't to imply that there weren't new events and trends at the contest. As Jim Richmond's F1D with variable-diameter propeller (on the cover) cruised in the Mini-Dome, other modelers prepared their new electric-powered and tip-launch models—relatively new for this year's competition. Find out more in John Kagan's outstanding overview of the five-day event.
