Transmitter's battery-compartment cover has been removed and battery pack (red case) partially removed. Battery has only 600 mAh capacity—enough to operate transmitter for roughly two hours. You could substitute packs with almost double the capacity that still fit in compartment. If you go to higher capacity, you will have to buy variable output charge such as ACE R/C DDVC shown.
