Twenty-Five Years Ago in MA:
November
1981

• This is the 1981 AMA Nationals (Nats) issue. This year's events were held in and near Seguin, Texas. Sixteen separate articles by various authors cover the entire contest.

• Construction articles and plans this month include a FF Wakefield called Waltzing Matilda, which placed second in the 1979 FF World Championships and was designed by Paul Van Leuven. The RC construction design is the Dakota Grande: a .60 RC-powered model by Randy Wrisley, which was inspired by the little FF versions of the 1950s.

• Bob and Dolly Wischer co-author an article called "Application of Windshields," which shows how to make and install windshields and windows in Scale models.

• "Let's Talk About RC Autogiros" is a feature by Jack Headley that explains the basics of these aircraft and how to design and build your own. MA
