Phantom Fred Whitty (3019 Durban Dr., Houston TX 77043; E-mail: fwhitty@fouroaks.com) built this colorful F-4 Phantom from a Great Planes kit. It is powered by an O.S. 1.08 engine and weighs 15 pounds. The paint design (except for the markings) was copied from an actual F-4 paint design that was done in 1976 for the Bicentennial. The model is finished with automotive paint and a clear coat was applied after the decals were placed. |
