Lanier Dart Alfonso Rosselli (Alhambra St., Block 4-8 Torrimar, Guaynabo PR 00966; E-mail: arosselli2002@yahoo.com) decided to paint his Lanier Dart instead of leaving it in the stock color that it comes in. He used LustreKote paint, and started with a can of primer, followed by three cans of paint and one can of clear coat. Alfonso wrote, “Yes, I overdid it with the paint; it weighs 7.5 pounds instead of the recommended 6 pounds.” To handle the extra weight, Alfonso installed an MDS .68 engine. He reports that the landings are fast but smooth. A six-channel JR radio-control system provides the guidance. |
