Mike Hilderbrandt’s (407 Maple Ln., Monticello IL 61856; E-mail: mhilderbrandt@hotmail.com) scratch-built Goldsmith 46% CAP 232 is powered by a DA150 engine and has a JR radio for guidance. The model weighs 40 pounds and according to Mike, “it flies like a fine-tuned Pattern airplane.”

The young man in the picture is Mike’s 11-year-old son, Justin, a third-generation modeler who flies in basic in International Miniature Aerobatic Club (IMAC) competition.
