W.J. “Wes” McGinnis (2309 Danwood Dr., Spring Hill FL 34606; E-mail: wesrzbud@atlantic.net) produced this original-design model that he calls the So Rare. The aircraft has a wingspan of 57 inches, is 47 inches in length, and has a wing area of 655 square inches. It weighs 5 pounds, 4 ounces and features a semisymmetrical airfoil.

Wes powers his beauty with an O.S. .46 FX engine and he finished the model with MonoKote covering. Wes wrote, “The aircraft flew quite well with minimal trim requirements on its maiden flight.”
