Three Favorites!

Ron Hayward (3360 Memorial Dr., Muskegon MI 49445; E-mail: xhayward@gte.net) sent in this photo showing three of his favorite RC airplanes. The large red-and-white model at the back of the line is a Cub built from an old Top Flite kit. Ron built it in 1960, sold it, and than later bought it back again. It’s covered with Coverite fabric, has an O.S. .48 Surpass engine, and a Futaba RC system.

The biplane in the center in the photo is a JN-4 Jenny that Ron scratch-built from his own plans that were worked up from an enlarged rubber-powered model. It spans 52.3 inches, and is covered with MonoKote. An O.S. 26 Surpass engine powers it.

The airplane in the foreground is a House of Balsa Spacewalker .10. An O.S. .15 powers this one.

All are nice airplanes, Ron!
