William R. Chopp (3825 Nathan Kornman Dr., Harvey LA 70058) built the DR-109 that his friend Mike Tafaro is holding. It was built from Rich Uravitch plans and has a 54-inch wingspan. An O.S. Max .46 FX engine provides the power, and a JR radio-control system is used for guidance. The model is covered with MonoKote.

William wrote, “It is capable of mild aerobatics and requires a paved field for takeoffs and landings.”
