Hangar 9 Edge 540

Wayne Davis (1610 Bright Heat Rd., Pfafftown NC 27040) assembled this Edge 540 from a Hangar 9 kit. It is powered by an MDS 148 Pro engine and uses a JR 8103 RC system with JR 4131 servos for guidance chores.

Wayne installed two Piezo Gyros in this model. One is on the elevator channel and one is on the rudder channel. A TME Smoke Pump is also used.

Wayne enthusiastically wrote, “Talk about hovering! This thing will hover at half throttle all day long. It’s my third airplane, and it’s the best flying one I have had.”
