Research in Collections and Archives requires at least 24-hour notice prior to arrival. Please contact the Museum Registrar and/or Archivist. You may research in the library without notice during the Museum's open hours. Some magazines, newsletters, and books are restricted due to fragility or age. These are accessible through request Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm when staff is available. To verify whether or not the magazine, newsletter, or book you are looking for is restricted, please contact museum staff. You do not need to make an appointment for this research, but calling ahead will save you time and give staff time to prepare materials for you.
Self-Service Photocopies
Black-and-white copies only, restricted to items not in fragile or sensitive condition.

Staff-Made Photocopies
Includes public domain and AMA copyright-held photographs only. These photocopies are not for publication.

Photographs/Scanned Images
Use fees available upon request, dependent on usage. Includes public domain and AMA copyright-held photographs only. May be used in publications only with permission by Museum staff.

Note: Images from the Archive collections are only available as digital copies - no print copies available at this time. Photographs of objects in the object collections are available as digital copy, or printed on an 8" x 11.5" paper.
Video Copies (AMA copyright-held and public-domain videos copied only)
VHS to VHS: $25 each
VHS to DVD: $25 each
DVD to DVD: $25 each
