What is a Click 6 Rate with Motel 6?

The Academy of Model Aeronautics has partnered with Motel 6 to offer savings on your next stay. Take advantage of the partnership by booking your reservation right here online and save 5%. Your discount will automatically be applied when the rates are displayed.

Once members have chosen the location of Motel 6 and dates, the 5% discount “Negotiated Rate” will appear on the next page of the Motel 6 reservation. In addition to the member discount, AMA will receive a 5% rebate check, paid quarterly, and based on the revenue generated from this corporate discount program.

Motel 6 is located nationwide with over 1000+ properties in US and Canada. 
The rates vary across the country.

If an AMA member does NOT have a reservation and just walks into any Motel 6, they must have their Corporate Plus # 546001 in order to receive the AMA discount.

Motel 6 Rooms are being renovated nationwide. During AMA member's travels, they may encounter properties that have new rooms. By the end of 2010, all Motel 6 properties will have a “new look” with hardwood floors, flat screen TVs, granite countertops and raised bathroom sinks.

* Other than service animals, one well-behaved pet per room is permitted unless they are prohibited by state law or ordinance. Pets must be declared during guest registration. In consideration of all Motel 6 guests, pets must be attended at all times.
** No charge for local calls and no motel service charge for long distance.
*** Children 17 and under stay free when occupying the same room with an adult family member.
**** Service charge of $2.99 per 24-hour period.

You may encounter a “Click 6” rate when shopping for a room in any given market. This is only a temporary rate offered to guests because a competitor in that same market is offering a lower rate than the Standard Rate offered by that particular Motel 6. In order to remain the “Lowest Price National Chain”, that Motel 6 will offer the Click 6 rate to keep with true advertising standards.

Once the competitor raises their rates, Motel 6 will go back to selling the Standard Rate and Click 6 will not be available for the guest to book.

Your Corporate Plus # (CP) may equal the limited offer Click 6 rate, or in some cases be slightly higher than the Click 6 rate; however, if your organization has a quarterly rebate, there is an advantage to using the CP# to book your reservation. Your CP# is always available and will never be shut off!
