The Rogue Eagles RC Club is a Gold Leader club located inside the Agate Lake County Park in Eagle Point, Oregon. It was established in 1964 by a handful of pilots but now maintains over 170 members. Rogue Eagles is one of the oldest RC clubs in the state of Oregon.
A new 600' asphalt runway was installed in 2014. Other amenities include fencing, signs, shelter, pit stands, helicopter pad, outhouse, bleachers, and an improved entry road.
For over 35 years, the club has performed their annual "Rogue Eagles Air Show" for the community and have raised over $16K for the local Children's Miracle Network. The club also enjoys float flies, model rocketry days, pylon racing, and control line events.
The club just wrapped up "Summer Aviation Camp" that consists of three half-day sessions open to middle school students. The class teaches young aviators the basics of aerodynamics, building, touring a local airport, RC simulator time, and hands-on model aviation flying.
