The Charlotte Aeromodelers #710 recently celebrated their 50th year as an AMA club and 12 years as a Gold Leader Club. They have over 150 members from ages 12 to 90. They have a long history of supporting local organizations with fundraisers and donations including the local Purple Heart Foundation, Charlotte Rescue Mission, Monroe Women's Center, Monroe Police Department, and numerous cub scout and 4H clubs.
Their facilities include: heated and cooled club house with full kitchen and bathroom with shower, 750x140 fixed wing Bermuda Grass runway, dedicated helicopter area and RC car track, power and water hookups along our flight line for overnight campers and a playground for children.
